Company Background

Our offices are located at Hamble, in the South of England, on the shoreline of Southampton water. We occupy modern, purpose built accommodation of approximately 6,000 sq. feet. The facilities of the Company are designed to serve its needs in the fields of Research and Study activity, as well as the design and manufacture of Test and Stimulation hardware. As such, the deliverables of the Company are product hardware and software, plus documents in the form of reports and design drawings. We therefore invest heavily in the latest in scientific computing technology, software modelling tools and test equipment, including a purpose built anechoic chamber for use in microwave measurements.

The staff of 36 mainly consists of Scientists and Engineers, the majority of which have more than one professional qualification. The Company thus provides a world class resource in our chosen areas of activity.

ESL Defence has ISO 9001:2000 accreditation allowing us to satisfy the standards required for international military procurement.

Much of the work undertaken by ESL Defence is subject to UK National Security restrictions; the Company is therefore cleared to work on material classified to UK Secret.
